At Schodack we have been fortunate to help many couples celebrate their special day with us over the years but one of the things that every couple says stands out about Schodack is that we are here to help you make it more than just one day. Couples and groups that choose to tie the knot at our site often choose to spend two or more days with us to take full advantage of our 100 acres of privately owned land and all of the amazing summer camp activities that we have to offer.

In addition to our activities, we have on-site accommodation for up to 500 people which means as soon as your guests arrive, everyone can leave their car keys and suitcases to one side and know that they have everything they could possibly need. So whether you or your guests want to spend your time relaxing by the pool, racing around the go-kart track or 40 feet up in the air on our high ropes adventure course, we have everything you could want to have a weekend you won’t forget.

Our 100 acre site consists of 40 acres of open lawns and common areas with a further 60 acres of private woodland trails surrounding the property that are perfect for exploring and adventures. Our combination of open space and private woods compliment each other, and make it easy for you to enjoy our traditional summer camp sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, lacrosse, tennis and much more.

For those guests looking for more adventurous ways to spend their time we have a high ropes adventure course, zip-line, 40ft climbing tower, 2 heated swimming pools, go-kart track and more. Aside from the activities on site there are a number of wonderful outdoor areas for guests to make use of including the Gazebo (perfect for wedding vows), our 500 seat amphitheater, the “Hollow” complete with fire pit and tiki torches for warm evenings roasting marshmallows. If it happens to be a cooler night or a rainy day then we have a many indoor options options including our Playhouse, music room, indoor fieldhouse/basketball court and even our Arts & Crafts studio for those who want to let their creative side out.

From your very first inquiry all the way through helping you plan the logistics of your wedding day and even waving you goodbye at the end, we will have a member of our team on hand to make sure that everything is going as planned.

Many of the team at Schodack have spent years at Camp and not only know and care about the property and the land that the camp is on but they also have an intimate knowledge of the surrounding area should you ever want to venture further afield. After so many years planning and executing amazing summers for the children we work with, our team know exactly what is needed to make your experience with us unforgettable.

Idyllic Accommodations

With all the beauty of New York State as your back drop you couldn’t wish for a betting setting than Schodack. No matter the season, our venue always looks stunning. We have a range of on site accommodation capable of comfortably housing up to 500 guests. Many of these can be adjusted in layout to fit your needs and the needs of your guests. These cabins are all complete with en-suite bathroom and shower facilities and come equipped with large porches and plenty of outdoor seating.

Our cabins are close enough together that you can have all your guests in the same area or should you desire, you make use of accommodations further apart from one another. Alongside our main cabins we also have a number of smaller, more intimate cabins that are perfect for couples and individuals and are located on various areas around the property. You can also feel free to celebrate into the night! Our private location does not have any noise restrictions to worry about.
