From OPJ: What’s Your Favorite Day at Camp?!?!

We really want to hear fromowen-leadership you! We would like to know what your favorite day was from this past summer! Just describe the day and explain why that day is your favorite! To get things started, I’ll give you mine!

Seeing as we can be silly here at camp, I’ll start at 7:15pm and end at 9pm the next day…Naturally, it’s the end of Tribals! It starts with almost everyone in camp taking part in the marathons, continues through the Apache and Kleins’ Klean Up meetings that evening, then hanging out with the LTs at night, followed by the relays themselves the next day and ending with Sing.

It’s almost impossible to pick just one day out, but that’s a pretty good one for me!!!

Fall Fest at Schodack

We had a wonderful matt-leadershipFall Fest day at camp this past Saturday! On a crisp morning with blue skies, green grass and an array of leaves turning oranges and reds, we were able to welcome interested Schodack families to camp.

It was a lot of fun getting to meet everyone and there were fun activities too – pumpkin decorating, camp tours, lawn games (see Paul below playing corn hole!) and cider and donuts when we needed a snack!

The Ross, Woloch, Munk, Schmelkin and Poquette families were also there as a welcoming crew and it was great to catch up and see how everyone has been doing since camp. The report on the fall thus far tended to be the same: school’s going well…but not as great as camp!
